Plan a trip using public transportation – google transit
Google transit has graduated from google labs since 2007, but I have just found it today. It is fully integrated with google maps, but not all area in this world is covered by google transit (it covered more than 256 countries around the world, but Malaysia is not yet covered, may be coming soon).
What is interesting with google transit is that, it help you to plan your trip. Buy ticket then go to google transit to start planning. And, for certain area, google transit helps you to compare the cost of taking public transport with cost of driving. (Yes, of couse public transport is much cheaper)
By using google transit, you can get step by step transit direction either from your web browser or on your mobile phone. Find transit stop in your area and view station information and schedule.
