Sultan of Kelantan Birthday
TweetTomorrow, Kelantanese will celebrate the Sultan of Kelantan Birthday (on 30 and 31 of March 2009). It will be the state holiday and as usual, most of government department will present “pintu gerbang” as symbol of respect for the Sultan of Kelantan. I have no time to go out to take pictures of decorated lamps (pintu gerbang), so I credited a few image from here.

Hi, I’m thinking of visiting Kelantan on 30 / 31 March 2010, & i understand it’s the Sultan of Kelantan’s birthday. If these 2 days are public holidays, will the shops in Kelantan open?
