KB Mall is the second third shopping complex in Kota Bharu after Kota Sri Mutiara at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, and Bangunan PKINK at Jalan Che Su (if you are still remember, at PKINK Building at Jalan Che Su, there were Parkson, then Hankyu Jaya, Naim Jaya then The Store then closed). The location of KB Mall is very strategic as you can see in the map. Behind KB Mall, is KB Bazar. But of coz KB Bazar is not that popular as KB Mall (which I think it might be due to the design ~ I will explain later on). Talking about KB Bazar, I only went to KB Bazar once…a long time ago.

So what is interesting with KB Mall eh? (I checked this blog awstat and I found that some of you (visitors) come to my blog with the keywords “KB Mall“)

Btw, most of the event will be held there. Last month I went to MAPEX, Selangkah ke UiTM (the above picture) and PIKOM at KB Mall. MAPEX is Malaysia Property Expo’s where participating developers make special and attractive incentives available for prospective buyers.

“Selangkah ke UiTM” was held on 13 March, I was there and this is the pictures. Can you see the crowd of people in the picture?

But if you go to KB Bazar (just behind KB Mall) you can see that most of the shop lot are closed. I will explain later on. The next week after “Selangkah ke UiTM”, PIKOM was held in KB Mall. There will be an event at least once a week. But nothing was held in KB Bazar. Nothing.

As you can see from the picture, KB Bazar on the same day where KB Mall is so busy (look at the above pictures) ~ I don’t understand why most of the shops lot in KB Bazar are closed on weekend (maybe because of Friday, but Friday is weekend). Weekend..where local people have more time to spend for shopping.

Is the design of KB Bazar makes we always forget to go there? Yes. It has been design with a very unique design, who will go to a shopping complex if the building looked like majlis agama islam building? Where is the entrance? Where to park your car? Jangan sampai Kerajaan Negeri Kelantan ditipu oleh pemaju. Mereka makan isi, kita hanya dapat kuah. Manakan tidak, KB Mall dipenuhi pengunjung sepanjang masa, tetapi KB Bazar terpencil kesuraman.

Someone did mentioned to me, “The land initially owned by SEDC, and the development is done by its JV partners. The partner paid SEDC in term of monetory and KB Bazar. And KB Mall is owned by whom?” ~ credit to Rohaya
