When the first time I noticed about Yes.my, it was a broadband. But today, Yes.my said they are not a broadband, but a broaderband.
You may read the term a few times. Its not a typo error.. A broaderband. Frankly speaking, this is the first time I heard this term. None of any telco use broaderband term except for this newcomers.
Another changes is it domain name. Yes.my is also Yes.com.my. I don’t know why Yes.my change its domain name from Yes.my to Yes.com.my. But in my opinion, it is only to measure a Malaysian company (YTL is a Malaysian public listed company).
What is broaderband?
According to Yes,
Mobile Internet and voice have always been two separate worlds. You either get one or the other, or pay a whole lot to get both. And when you get 2 separate plans, you’re stuck with a fixed amount that you have to pay, or a long-term contract that ties you down to your device. It is a better internet for all.
