Haiya… what keyword YTL or YES is bidding for their online advertising campaign ya? Last a few days, I found YES advertisement.. maybe after you see the images below, you can smell something like a shit…. sniff sniff
You visit a website, you see an advertisement title Celcom Broadband Packages or Digi Broadband.. then you click that ads with intention that you will visit either Celcom or Digi website. But, it is not.. you were shown a website with big YES on the homepage.
Then you starts thinking.. eh, I click on Celcom link.. but why this website is about YES? What the heck is YES? You then browse the website and you find that YES is similar to Celcom or Digi, but have a faster connection called 4G.
You can see it clearly from the above screenshot. Picture doesn’t lie. The keyword used by Yes is Celcom Broadband Packages and Digi Broadband, but the link is www.yes.my
YTL is a big and well established Malaysian company. I am talking about ethic. What kind of business ethics practiced by a well known company?
I always expect a keen competition when there are a new entrant in a market..then the competition will be good to give win win situation for both users, competitors and providers.
