From now on, the health ministry will monitor private hospital which have excessive insurance claim. This is good actually. We as an insurance holder may not think a lot about that, but insurance company may a little bit suffer. I still remember, my niece who regularly get treatment at Hospital Pakar Perdana. Still warded even he is in good condition. And, my friend recovered from dengue, still warded even the platlet already high and his temparature was at 35 (during the that time)..
Why don’t they discharge them when they are recovered. Still warded for another 1-2 days just to ensure they are in very good conditions? I don’t think so. Because they claim more with the insurance company.
Private hospital is a business. A business is business, with Key Performance Index as a measurement of successful of the management, target profit per annum and so on..
It’s ok lah because the insurance company. But how about for those who are not covered by insurance?
